JOB OPPORTUNITIESProduct Designer Employee will be responsible for industrial design and modeling of new ballistic products for the law enforcement and defense industries. These products will be sketched, prototyped, and modeled using 3D computer software. Moreover, employee will be responsible for evaluating ergonomics and product safety before the final product will be manufactured and ultimately sold to our local and international customers. This process involves submitting products for testing in U.S. Government authorized laboratories. Employee will also be responsible for redesign and modeling of company's existing product line. This includes, but is not limited to, ballistic helmets, body armor, and x-ray screening equipment. These redesigned products will be sketched, prototyped, and modeled using 3D computer software. Moreover, employee will need to evaluate ergonomics and product safety prior to final product manufacturing and sale to customers. Additionally, employee will advise on technical raw materials used in development of new products as well as possible replacement of materials in existing products. Employee will work with subcontractors and manufacturers to develop prototypes and components for manufacturing.M-F: 8:30 - 5:00; 40hrs/wk. Requirements: BS in Computer Arts/Industrial Design or related field/equivalent consideration.
