Overview

Featuring a low profile base design and producing a full 25 watts of output power (36 watts input), the 800D Series beacons are available with either our new high-gain, high profile dome, or our traditional low profile, double fresnel optic dome. The original Whelen 1200D Strobe beacon, introduced in 1968, pioneered a new standard in automotive warning. Equipped with a new high profile, high-gain, aerodynamic, self-cleaning dome, and producing a full 25 watts of output power (36 watts input), this model offers increased illumination of the dome surface.
