Mobile computerized Under Vehicle Surveillance System (UVSS)

Overview

Mobile Under Vehicle Surveillance Systems (UVSS) provide security personnel with a fast and effective method of inspecting the underside of vehicles. Using high-resolution imaging to produce a clear full length image within seconds, the system enables continuous inspection of vehicles as traffic continues to move. Vehicle and driver information are viewed on-screen and stored for comparison or secondary review. Available in high-resolution Color or Black & White versions.

Design & Construction

  • Heavy duty rubber ramp assembly with built-in sensor: approx. 96” x 98” (244 x 249 cm)
  • Computer: Intel Pentium 4 processor (or equivalent), 120 GB hard drive, dual USB port, monitor, keyboard and mouse

Standard Features

  • Color high image resolution for improved inspection and object identification.
  • Vehicles are able to travel over the Mobile UVSS at moderate speeds, (2-6 MPH), resulting in high vehicle throughput.
  • Image remains on monitor screen after the car passes for a more detailed inspection.
  • On Screen zoom-in of 32:1 and roam capability.
  • Screen scrolling via click of the mouse for faster image analysis.
  • Permanently records and stores the image on a 120 GB Hard Drive, with a time and date stamp for faster retrieval.
  • Option of adding an image identifi er, such as a license plate number, for quick image search and display.
  • On-screen same vehicle comparison capability, provides over/under view of current and previous image of same vehicle.
  • Capable of utilizing two Scene Cameras at a time, PIP Scene Images. This feature provides an outside description of the vehicle, along with the license tag information.
  • Deployable in 10-15 minutes by two persons.
  • Operational in day or night conditions, as well as low light conditions.
  • Capable of scanning wide vehicles or small vehicles without readjusting the UVSS Ramp Assembly.
  • Heavy Duty Rubber Ramp Assembly with built in Sensor, provides automatic triggering of UVSS system and is capable of handling vehicle weights of up to 40 tons.
  • Capable of being integrated with a LPR (License Plate Reader), which can be integrated with employee or government databases, as permitted by law.
  • Color resolution is roughly 6 x that of Black & White.
  • Image Enhancement Features, which lighten or darken the images, utilizing the optional Touchscreen features or click of the mouse.
  • Capable of being integrated with Traffi c Lights/Barriers.
