The SMD600 is characterised by very high immunity to electrical interference in the surrounding environment as well as mechanical vibrations; as a result, it can be installed in areas unsuitable for standard metal detectors.
The full-height light bar displays the horizontal location of the detected metal masses in transit, enabling rapid threat identification and a reduction or elimination of manual searches. The Anti-Vandalism Control Unit (IP65 in stainless steel) is built-in and programming access is protected both by a mechanical lock and by alphanumeric passwords.
